Post-Adoption Support Group
For Parents of Children Age 0-8


First Connections’ free post-adoption support and education group provides a supportive environment where adoptive parents can meet and share resources with other adopted families, as well as build their parenting skills with adoption-specific educational topics.

Parents are welcome to attend one or all topics. A monthly reminder email is sent to group members prior to each month’s meeting. If you would like to join this group, please send your contact information to

First Connections is a Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Grant Program through the Mass. Dept. of Early Education and Care. We are part of the Early Childhood Services Division of J.R.I.  Additional funding for this program was received from Concord-Carlisle and Maynard Community Chests, as well as Acton-Boxborough United Way.

Adoption Loss and Long Term Foster Care
Support Group

Join us as we support one another through the grief of saying goodbye and the questions that arise during the process.  It is not easy to understand adoption loss, but together we can find support for ourselves and our families.
