As part of the residential treatment model at Experiment With Travel School, RFK Lancaster School and the Cape Cod Adolescent Treatment Center, RFK Children’s Action Corps operates an Adventure Education program. The goals of Adventure Education are to improve self confidence and peer/family relationships and build group cohesion. Youth who participate in Adventure Education programs often aren’t successful in traditional educational programs. Adventure Education offers alternative-based physical activities that increase learning for many youth in residential treatment.
