Support and StabilizationFor children who are leaving residential treatment, the transition back to their own families can often require additional support in order for them to be able to stay at home. Other children need support services to prevent them from entering residential treatment or other out-of-home placement. Support and Stabilization services provide direct in-home and community-based services to youth and their families who hope to stay together, but need additional services to be successful. Each family is assigned a family support worker who visits the youth and his or her family several days each week. Specific services include:
