Our Kids
The majority of the young people we serve are referred to us by two Massachusetts state agencies: the Department of Youth Services (DYS), a juvenile justice agency that holds and treats children and youths committed by the courts; and the Department of Social Services (DSS), an agency responsible for protecting children from child abuse and neglect. Many of these young people are referred to us for specialized care and treatment.
The RFK Children’s Action Corps also receives referrals from the departments of Mental Health and Early Education and Care, as well as judges, probate officers, and public school systems.
