The RFK Children’s Action Corps relies on private donations to help provide the children in our care with a sense of normalcy and stability, something many of them have never before experienced. Our annual budget of more than $25 million is funded mainly through state contracts, which are designated for specific purposes such as salaries, professional development, training, and operational expenses. With your generous gift of cash or stock, you help us provide:
  • Educational items, including text books, library books and computer software.
  • Recreational equipment, such as basketballs, hockey sticks, art supplies, puzzles, and board games.
  • Much-needed clothing, including winter coats and warm boots, and duffel bags for weekend home visits.
  • Opportunities for kids to attend summer camp, take weekend adventure trips, or go to the movies.

The RFK Children’s Action Corps manages its budget efficiently. With only 10.8% of funds used for administrative purposes, we use nearly 90 cents of every dollar received for the direct care of the children and families we serve.
